What's a custom receipt?
When someone pays on your collection, they will automatically receive a detailed email receipt. This is great for their records. The custom receipt feature allows you to add custom text to the top of this email receipt.
You can add this custom receipt text when building your collection. Simply click on "Settings" within the "Build" step. In the light blue bar on the left, you'll see the "Custom Receipt" option. Clicking on it will reveal the option to toggle this feature on and type in a custom message. You can even format this text or add a link.
Below is an example of how this customized text appears within an email confirmation email to the payer. Notice how in this example the collector is automatically linking the payer to a tax deductible receipt that the payer can download. That's a great way to use this feature and minimize paperwork!
