A category is a way for organizers to visually separate items on a collection. Categories can also be used to create a navigation menu on a collection, which allows payers to easily filter groups of items (helpful for collections with many items).
Create a category
Within Build > Items, once you have created at least one item, you’ll see the option to “Create Category”. You can create a category by taking the following steps:
- Click “Create Category”.
- Give your category a name (and optional description).
- Click “Save”.
- Your category will appear on your Item canvas. Now drag an item (by clicking on the three dots to the left of the item) into the category container.
To reorder your categories, take the following steps:
- Collapse your categories by clicking on the arrows on the right of the category bars.
- Click the three-dot icon to the left of one of your categories and drag it up or down until it’s in the desired location. Repeat this until all categories are in their proper position.
